This was a while ago now but I just stumbled across some pics my good friend Luke Shirlaw took at this crazy party we where at with some friends on my Last trip to Melbourne.
It started off all good an well, dope party at the Everfresh studio on Halloween night, every one went all out with there costumes, free drinks, live band, it was rad. Then the police showed up and decided to shut it down and man handle everyone, it got a little crazy and it looked like a riot was about to break out. Fun times
This was my favorite costume from the night.

Wadeye is a very remote Aboriginal village in Northern Territory that received a lot of media attention for its rival gangs that name themselves after early 90's heavy metal bands like slayer, mega death, Metalica, Judith priest and even bizarre ones like the evanessence, the madoonna mob and the Tina Turner girls. One of the best bits in the second part of the doco is where rival mobs have a heavy metal disco dance off.. really! Watch both parts of this insightful doco by VBS here
Our buddies at acclaim have released there latest issue and it will be on shelves now. I have to say this issue is one of here best. I had a flip through and noticed they used our purple check shirt in the shoot. word.
Members of Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks, the Graffiti Research Lab, and The Ebeling Group communities have teamed-up with a legendary LA graffiti writer, publisher and activist, named Tony Quan, aka TEMPTONE. Tony was diagnosed with ALS in 2003, a disease which has left him almost completely physically paralyzed… except for his eyes. This international team is working together to create a low-cost, open source eye-tracking system that will allow ALS patients to draw using just their eyes. The long-term goal is to create a professional/social network of software developers, hardware hackers, urban projection artists and ALS patients from around the world who are using local materials and open source research to creatively connect and make eye art.
This week the team behind the EyeWriter project released all the Source code, free software, DIY instructions, and eye tags by Tempt1 to the public at eyewriter.org
Went to west end the other week to eat out my new fav little kebab joint. Its 100% legit Lebanese Kebabs and they are only $4 with lots of fresh ingredients.
Popped into our buddies shop Gear, very cool little shop filled with a really nice collection of street labels (including Grand Scheme) from around the world with a Scandinavian twist thanks to the Dutch owner and super nice guy Erik. Gear also are the place to go for anything bike and especially Fixed gear related, from tricked out bikes, parts and accessories.
After wards we went to the valley where valley Fiesta was in full swing and by mates Sofles and Eros where putting the finishing touches on a wall.
Hangin tough
Some of the detail was off the hook.
A combination of a big storm coming and the sun set made for some really beautiful clouds.
