Come late September the Beers Instead of Gears crew in Perth, Western Australia will be hosting the BIGGEST Alley-cat race ever organised on the west coast. The B.I.G. High Rollers Poker-Cat will combine all the skill and speed of traditional alleycat races, but incorporates a Poker Run which raises the stakes and gives everyone a chance to trump the leaders with a winning hand whether you cross the line first or not. Don't get us wrong, this still is first and foremost a Race, and the rider taking line-honours will walk away with a brand new Leader Track Frame, however the Best Poker Hand, 1st Lady, & those winning many other categories won't walk away disappointed either. Starting at Banks Reserve in East Perth on Saturday September 24 at 1pm, $10 buy-in for Gents and $5 for ladies - a small price to pay given the size of the kitty up for grabs!
